“…I Am With You And Will Rescue You!”(Jer.1:11-19).
We are again opportune to taste the unceasing steadfast love of the LORD with the gift of a new day. Thank you, LORD.
Prophet Jeremiah was called to declare to Judah that God was about to use Nebuchadnezzar as a weapon to punish them for their sins.
Jeremiah was young and naive when the LORD called him to become a prophet. Jeremiah’s prophecies were to cut through the rank and file of the populace. It was normal for Jeremiah to be terrified.
The LORD promised Jeremiah not to be terrified. He told Jeremiah: “Get yourself ready! Stand up and say to them whatever I command you. Do not be terrified by them, or I will terrify you before them. Today, I have made you a fortified city, an iron pillar, and a bronze wall to stand against the whole land—against the kings of Judah, its officials, its priests, and the people of the land. They will fight against you but will not overcome you, for I am with you and will rescue you.”
My friend, maybe God has assigned you with a task that causes the crowd to stand against you. You have God’s assurance: “Do not be terrified by them… They will fight against you but will not overcome you, for I am with you and will rescue you.”
If the assignment is from the LORD, do not be intimidated by the adversary. The LORD will be your backup! The Lord Jesus Christ says, “I am with you to the close of the age!”
Prayer: Holy Spirit, embolden me to execute my assignment without fear. Amen!
Have a blessed day!
Peace be with you!
