John the visionary writes, “…before me was a great multitude that no-one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb…And they cried out in a loud voice: ‘Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.’…”
Nations are constituted of tribes and sometimes many languages, possibly the reason why even though they are called from all nations, tribes and languages are still mentioned. Human created social platforms categorise people as upper class, middle class and lower class, caste, commoners, nobility and royalty. One nation may have many languages, but some languages may be considered superior to others.
Recently we postponed a meeting where a qurom was formed but key actors absent. It is possible to bring all nations together without equal representation of the tribes, peoples and languages that constitute those nations. In heaven God is interested in equal representation.
Equality does not mean you say an examination for all creatures have the same questions and the examination has to be written at the same centre. One way or the other, such a condition disenfranchises either the sea creatures or the land creatures.
However, in the heavenly assembly there is an exception to the rule; there is just one criteria. You must have come out of the great tribulation after having washed your robes in the blood of the Lamb.
Some lessons worth noting:
1. The kingdom brings us together making sure no class is left out. This is an unbiased criteria for selection, unlike in ordinary life where greed, selfishness, nepotism and tribalism leads us to make biased selections!
2. In the kingdom all diversities are dissolved for a common goal! – otherwise in which language did the people cry out in a loud voice?
3. The content of the message should help suppress our egos, ambitions and greed: “Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.”
Yes my friend, when we recognize this in this life, then never again are we going to hunger or thirst again!
God will lead us to springs of living water and wipe away every tear from our eyes!(Rev. 7:9-17).
Stay focused on Christ the Passover Lamb because no matter the adversities we pass through today, it shall surely come to pass!
Have a blessed Sunday! We wish the Christian Women Fellowship(CWF) of the PCC happy rally celebrations 2018!
Peace be with you!
