“Prepare Yourself For Eternity: Be Good And Do Good!”
Eternity is for everybody. One day all the dead shall arise. The question to ponder is, “where will you spend eternity?” The answer is not blowing in the wind! The answer depends on one’s life actions here on earth. At that time “all who are in their graves will hear his voice and come out – those who have done good will rise to live, and those who have done evil will rise to be condemned.” These words come from Jesus the righteous judge who judges only as he hears and his judgment is just because he does not seek to please himself but the one who sent him.”
It is possible that when the trumpet call will be sounded, the dead in Christ will rise first, then those “who are still alive will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will all be with the Lord forever. Therefore, encourage each other with these words”(I Th.4:13-18).
Yes, we shall be there if we believe in “the Son who gives life to whom he is pleased to give it.” He says, “…the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing…”(Jn.5:19-29). We should learn by Jesus’ example and not do things when God has not asked us to do them! Do good and be good so that in eternity you will live with Christ and not be condemned for eternal damnation.
Sunday prayer: Father lead me to do only what you want. Holy Spirit lead me to be good and do good. Amen!
