“Pray For A Closer Walk With The Lord!”
The life of Jesus was a life of sorrow and pain. Yet he suffered in innocence. “He was pierced for our transgressions,…the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all…he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors”(Is. 53:1-12).
Jesus went through all these to become the Christ. The questions he is asking you and I today are, “This I did for you, what have you done for me?” “This I did for you, what have you done for others?”
It is not only about the good life! Rather it is that there is no glory without pain and endurance! Through the pain of Jesus your salvation has been assured! May you also be ready to travel a rough path to win a soul for the kingdom!
Prayer: Lord Jesus Christ you gave your life for my sake. Help me to have a closer walk with you. Amen!
Welcome back to work! Have a blessed day and week! Peace be with you!
