“Jesus Christ Is All We Need!”
The writer of the letter to the Hebrews started by stating categorically and without mincing words: “In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe. The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being… So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs…”(Heb.1:1-6).
This was probably to counter those who argued that Jesus Christ was either like one of the angels or even inferior to the angels.
Each Christmas season the Godhead of Jesus Christ is being disputed by many, just as it was in those days. Hebrews tells us that Jesus Christ is the final Revelation of God. It is not as if he comes last, rather he is anterior to, and the source of all created matter – including angels!
Whoever is in Christ and has become a new creation is the one who knows that Christ is all that matters.
Unfortunately there are still many who claim Christ but are still not convinced that he is the be all and end all!

My dear friend, Jesus Christ is the final Revelation. He is also anterior to all other creatures. No power – no matter how convincing it may be – supersedes the power of the name Jesus Christ! Believe in him and him alone!
Prayer: Holy Spirit, strengthen me in my resolve to be steadfast in Jesus Christ the final Revelation of God. Amen!
