“A Powerful Prayer For Your Spiritual Armament!”(Eph.1:15-23).
Dear friend, let us parody this Ephesian prayer for our spiritual armament:
Dear LORD, God glorious Father, God of our Lord Jesus Christ, give your children the Spirit of wisdom and revelation so that they may know you better. May the eyes of their hearts be enlightened in order that they may know the hope to which you have called them and the riches of your glorious inheritance in the saints. May they be enlightened by your incomparably great power for us who believe.
Your incomparable power is like the working of your mighty strength which you exerted in Christ when you raised him from the dead and seated him at your right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power, dominion, and every title that can be given, not only now but also in the age to come.
You have placed all things under his feet and have appointed him to be the Head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way. Amen!
May this prayer work for you so that you should have the confidence that you are more than a conqueror!
