“Sing Praises To The LORD Most High!”(Rev.15:2-4).
When the children of Israel crossed the Red Sea,“the people feared the LORD and put their trust in him and in Moses his servant” Then Moses and the Israelites sang a song to the LORD (Ex. 14:31-15:1-19).
This song came to be known as the song of Moses. It was sung on Sabbath evenings in the synagogue to celebrate Israel’s great deliverance. The song of the Lamb in Revelation was to celebrate the triumph of the risen Lord over his enemies (including death).
The lesson for us is that we should always sing songs of praise to the Triune God each time we have won any victory over evil and the evil one.
“Great and marvellous are your deeds, Lord God Almighty. Just and true are your ways, King of the ages…”
Prayer: Lord thank you for leading us to safety whenever we face dangerous sitiations. Amen!
Have a blessed Sunday! Peace be with you!
