“Put Your Trust In God!”
No matter how bleak the present may be, the future is bright if your trust is in the Lord. Even if the present is good, just know that with God there is a better tomorrow. Make this affirmation with conviction: “My tomorrow will be better than today, because the Lord holds my future in his hands!”
God may be vexed by our sins, but he is a compassionate Father. He promises hope for his children. A hope that has been fulfilled in Jesus Christ. All we have to do to enjoy the promise is to believe in that name Jesus and live in obedience to his commands.
The Sovereign Lord has taken a shoot which he has planted, which has become a big tree, bearing good fruit, and birds of every kind nest in it and find shelter in the shade of its branches.
With God all things are possible. He brings down the tall tree and makes the low tree grow. He dries up the green tree and makes the dry tree flourish(Ez.17:22-24).
Blessed are they who fear the Lord and walk in his ways.
Prayer of the week: Thank you Lord Jesus Christ for being the sprig that has become a big tree providing me with fruit and shade. Amen!
