“Offer To God Only What He Has Shown You To Be Good!”
It is a human tendency – which is actually a weakness – to think that we can placate, cajole or appease God through what we offer to him. Most of the pronouncements we make are far removed from the thoughts of our hearts.
Today the prophet Micah reminds us that God is not interested in what we bring before him as offerings and sacrifices.
God has shown us what is good and what he requires of us! God wants anyone of us “to act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with our God “(6:6-8).
My friend, introspectively it is for you to find out whether your actions are just and whether you love mercy. Above all, do you walk humbly with your God?
Summarily it is good to act justly, love mercy and walk humbly with God!
Prayer: Lord Jesus Christ enable me to always act justly, love mercy and walk in humility before my God. Amen!
