“Leave All Your Worries With The Lord; He Cares For You!”
“All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, ‘God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.’ Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you…”(I Pt.5:5b-11).
I’m inspired to visit my song file for this song: “I take my portion from thy hand, And do not seek to understabd, For I am blind, while thou dost see, thy will is mine, Whate’er it be.”
Refrain: What’er it be, what’er it be, I do not fear, what’er it be, Thy love divine, sustaineth me, Thy will is mine, what’er it be.”
We do not leave our route to God just like thoughtless people. We surrender ourselves to God to lead us because he knows the road and the destination. Leaving ourselves to the direction of a guard does not make us less careful. The guard keeps telling you, “Hey, watch your step. This place is slippery, etc!”
“With Christ in your boat you just have to smile at the storm. Christ is your best friend, a proper shelter in troubled waves!
“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” There is no need to fret yourself over the things you have no control over. Whatever it is, you are a mere tool in God’s hands. The best you can do is to constantly ask him in humility, “Lord show me the way. Take me to that glorious place which you have prepared for me in your service to huminity. Lower my pride!”
The devil is always around to prompt you not to lower your ego. He wants you to be proud, arrogant and haughty, so that you can despise or ignore humility. Don’t give him a chance! Shame the devil; let him leak his wounds!
Life in Christ is not a bed of roses. Even if it were so, roses grow on thorny shrubs. *”Stand firm in the faith! Other believers around you have faced or are facing worst sufferings than yours. Be confident that *”the Lord of all grace who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered for a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.”* Be humble to God and to one another, because God will lift you up through somebody.
Yes my friend, if you walk with God in Christ Jesus, one day e must better!
Weekend prayer: Lord, I cast all my anxiety on you because you care for me. Amen!
Have a blessed weekend! Peace be with you!
