“In Christ The Wisdom Of God Has Been Revealed To Us!
The majority of us were nothing before God took us and made us into something. Ironically many of us intentionally ignore that past, and tend to treat those who are where we once were as if they are outcasts.
God calls us from nothing to something for a purpose. We are who we are “by the gift of God’s grace given us through the working of his power.” This gift of God’s grace will ultimately come to those others as well. A humble evaluation of self is a profound way of acknowledging God’s grace. Paul tells the Ephesians, “Although I am the less of the least of all God’s people this grace was given me to preach the unsearchable riches of Christ, and to make plain to everyone the administration of this mystery…”
Generally when people go after other gods it is because they consider them to be spiritual rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms who are more powerful than Jesus Christ. But the contrary is true. Paul writes, in the past God had hidden all these in himself, but now, “through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, according to his eternal purpose which he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Therefore: Christ is above any other power. We are called by the gift of God’s grace to make the gospel known through word and deed. Through the church of God which unites the nations, the manifold wisdom of God is made known.
Because God’s eternal purpose has been accomplished through Jesus Christ, “in him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence:(Eph.3:7-12).
