“Depending On Internal Influence!”(I Jn.3:7-12)[17/11/2024].
“They lost the world that cared so much about it.” I do not remember who first said these words, but for me it is deep. AI suggests that those words “means that someone or something has lost the support of the world.”
Maybe you are not that important for the world to notice, but the world in your little corner is where you are struggling to point the way to divine paths.
Just at the time when you think that the world is against you, just pause to reflect on the lives of Christ and the lesser others. Did they achieve anything in the time of their struggles? Certainly not; because the world was not ready for them.
Evil men may have rejoiced that they had killed the Christ, but it only revealed who their father was – the devil!
Evil will never triumph over God’s righteousness. However, evil holds sway all the way. We are reminded that “The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.” If we are born of God, we won’t continue in sin because God’s seed is in us.
Those who are born of God are known by their fruits.
My friend, whose child are you? Better still, who is your father?
John writes, “This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God; nor is anyone who does not love his brother.”
Children of God should not be like Cain who because of his evil action killed his brother whose actions were righteous.
Christ showed us unconditional love and expects us to pass on the same to others.
We have to be careful of what we harbor within, because the something that must kill a man is from within(Mk.7:14-23).
My friend, supposing you are a good person who sees a snake in danger and tries to save it. In the process, the snake bites you. What would you do? Help the snake all the same, for it is in your nature to help and it is the nature of the snake to bite. Do what is right and you will be righteous. Do not be led astray by external influence, rather, be led by your internal influence.
Sunday prayer: LORD fill me with love and righteous inclinations. Amen!
Have a blessed Sunday! Peace be with you!
