“Be Reminded Of The Supremacy Of Christ!”(Col.1:15-20).
A prominent anglophone statesman and staunch Christian once said that once he became a Rosicrucian, his Christian faith became more strengthened. How many other Christian Rosicrucians think that way? Christians who join the Order can even capitalise on the fact that the Order was founded by a Christian priest.
The same arguments can be raised for members of Opus Dei, the Free Masons, Illuminati fraternity, Eckankar, the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star and many such esoteric fraternities that spice up their teachings with biblical backings; yet full of heresies!
A great threat to the Christian faith is “half-truths.” A half-truth is dangerous because it is often hard to detect and is worse than a lie. A lie can be easily detected, but a half-truth is easily believed for a long time.
The teachings of the antichrist rely on half-truths to be able to win gullible Christians.
All heresies rely on half-truths and intentional misinterpretation for survival.
We are living in a world of “Live and let live.” But the caveat has to be sounded for those who genuinely seek salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ only!
When Christ is brought down to the level of lesser powers, it becomes necessary to remind genuine Christ seekers that “the Supremacy of Christ is indisputable and incomparable!
Christ “is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by him all things were created; things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities, all things were created by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything, he might have supremacy. For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.”
Dear friend, the Lord Jesus Christ is the Substance. Do not abandon the substance and chase after the shadow!
Prayer: Holy Spirit guide me daily to cling unwaveringly on the Supreme Christ the Lord. Amen!
Have a blessed day! Peace be with you!
