“Be Glad And Rejoice…!”
Life is not always as smooth as we want it to be. Tough times do happen to us as a people and as individuals. What we should know is that “tough times never last…”
Those whom the Lord choses should see calamities as punishment for sins, not as abandonment. The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases and his mercies endure for all times.
After the rain, there is sunshine. When Judah was passing through some difficult times, the prophet Zephaniah spoke positively to them about the day of the Lord. These words are to us also. “Be glad and rejoice with all your hearts…” because “the Lord has taken away your punishment, he has turned back your enemy. The Lord, the King of Israel is with you, never again will you fear any harm…The Lord your God is with you, he is mighty to save…”(Zeph.3:14-18).
Yes, the day of the Lord is a time of restoration to the remnants who wait faithfully upon the Lord by living in obedience to his commandments through Jesus Christ. Therefore prepare yourself and be ready when the bridegroom comes! Be glad and rejoice!
Prayer of the week: Thank you Lord for your fulfilled salvation in Jesus Christ. Amen!
Welcome back to a new working week! Have a blessed day and week! Peace be with you!
