“Believe In The Lord Jesus Christ Or Die In Your Sin!”

“Believe In The Lord Jesus Christ Or Die In Your Sin!”(Jn:8:21-30).
Jesus told the Jews, “I am going away, and you will look for me, and you will die in your sin.” The Jews wondered whether Jesus wanted to kill himself. No! He did not want to kill himself. They were the ones that would murder him! Jesus’ response to that question: “When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am he and that I do nothing on my own but speak just what the Father has taught me.”
Furthermore, the Jews asked, “Who are you?”
According to Jesus, this question was uncalled for if they had been listening to him.
The question is still uncalled for if we have been listening with ears of faith and walking by faith and not by sight.
Even as Jesus spoke, many believed in him.
My friend, the risen Lord Jesus Christ, is still speaking today. Are you among those who believe in him or those who continue to ask with sarcasm, “Who are you?”
My friend, the rate at which untimely deaths are happening is frightening. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ while you can. Otherwise, you may die in your sin!
Prayer: Holy Spirit, help me to walk by faith and to have ears of faith that hear and believe in the Son of God. Amen!
