“Avoid Words Without Knowledge!”(Job:38:1-11).
“Who is this that darkens my counsel with words without knowledge?…Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundations?…”
In a bid to understand God’s questions to Job, I asked, “Who created God?” One answer says, “No person or thing created God. He created “time,” and because we dwell in the dimension of time, reason demands that all things have a beginning and an end. God, however, dwells outside of the dimension of time.” (I know that you know, and I know the Bible’s own answer).
One must come to that point of awakening or consciousness when it dawns that all human claims and justifications before God are darkening his counsel with words without knowledge.
The wisdom that directs the ways of the Creator is beyond any creature’s understanding.
We are limited beings and cannot comprehend the unlimited God. We can be changed by the Unchanged Changer whom we cannot change! We are finite beings seeking to understand the Infinite. We are mortals who cannot fully grasp the truth of the Eternal!
This is where submission and obedience make sense! The Truth is in Christ; and the truth is Christ!
Let us sing with Dora Greenwell:
“1. I am not skilled to understand
What God hath willed, what God hath planned;
I only know at His right hand
Stands One who is my Savior.

  1. I take Him at His word indeed:
    “Christ died for sinners”—this I read;
    For in my heart I find a need
    Of Him to be my Savior!
  2. That He should leave His place on high
    And come for sinful man to die,
    You count it strange? So once did I
    Before I knew my Savior!
  3. And, oh, that He fulfilled may see
    The travail of His soul in me,
    And with His work contented be,
    As I with my dear Savior!
  4. Yes, living, dying, let me bring
    My strength, my solace from this spring—
    That He who lives to be my King
    Once died to be my Savior!”

Oh yes, it is enough that Jesus died for you and me.
Prayer: Holy Spirit, guide me that I should not darken the counsel of the LORD with words without understanding. Amen!
Have a blessed day! Peace be with you!
