“Father Thank You For Grace!”
A question raised by African theologians is whether one can be your ancestor without consanguinuity? To the African an ancestor must be of bloodline. If that is so how does Abraham become our ancestor? The simple answer is that we are descendants of Abraham by adoption.
Paul says, “He is the father of us all. As it is written, ‘He is our father in the sight of God in whom he believed – the God who gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they were.'”
Since Abraham was justified by faith, we too through him are justified by faith, not through the law.
God’s promise to us comes by faith, so that it may be by grace and guaranteed to all of us (Rom.4:13-17).
We are saved by Grace otherwise Jesus Christ died in vain. Let us each ascend the throne of grace where through his mercy God is ready to receive us.
