“It Is Well!”
Jesus Christ is the glory of the Lord that has been revealed for all mankind to see it. Through Jesus all our sins have been paid for. This is the work of grace and should humble us from the least to the greatest because “All men are like grass, and their glory is like the flowers of the field…The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God shall remain..”
To know this is to think less of self, contemplate more on the things of God and do his works of love in this world.
God through Jesus Christ has become the perfect shepherd for us. “He tends his flock like a shepherd. He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young”(Is.40:1-11).
No matter the torments we are passing through as a people, let us look up to the Lord in trust and confidence because our sins have been paid for.
My friend have reverence for the word of God which stands for ever while you and I will wither like grass. Fear God and depend on his grace!
Prayer of the week: Thank you Lord the good shepherd for carrying me a lamb in your arms. Amen!
