“When The Saints Go Marching In…!”(Rev.14:14-20).
I can imagine the ridicule, taunts and mockery which Noah received from people during the period he took in constructing the ark. Nobody took him serious! Some may even have considered him to be schizophrenic!
As we commonly say, “It is the end that matters.” When the ark was sealed and the floodgates of heaven swung wide open for water to engulf the earth, many surely regretted why they ignored Noah.
We are more or less like the people of Noah’s time. Whether we accept it or not, what will be, will be according to God’s plan. When the time of harvesting the earth comes, the saints who are like the wheats shall be harvested, then the weeds will be trampled in the winepress of God’s wrath.
Let us live our lives with the consciousness that the eternal word of God will endure for all times. Let us reflect the light of Christ and the light that we are. And when that day of reckoning comes we shall be among the saints as they go marching in.
Weekend prayer: Holy Spirit guide me so that through my thoughts, words and deeds I will be counted among the saints when they go marching in at the last harvest. Amen!
Have a blessed weekend! Peace be with you!
