“There Is Hope For The Redeemed!”
The coming of Christ whether as a baby at Christmas or as Lord in the second coming is a moment of hope fulfilment for those who have spiritually prepared to receieve him. Those who have fearful hearts need the assurance, “Be strong, do not fear…”
When Christ comes “a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness. The unclean will not journey on it; it will be for those who walk in the Way; wicked fools will not go about on it…But only the redeemed will walk there, and the ransomed of the Lord will return. They will enter…with singing…Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away”(Is.35:3-10).
My friend, it is never as bad. With Christ in the boat just smile at the storm. “Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes in the morning!”
Just prepare yourself spiritually so that you do not fall in the category of the unclean and wicked fools who will not walk on the Way of holiness! Do the works of God today and obey his words so that you will be counted among the ransomed of the Lord and the redeemed who will walk there.
Prayer: Father, thank you for a new week and day. Holy Spirit lead me to walk the Way of Holiness so as to be counted among the redeemed of the Lord. Amen!
