“Separation Number Two!”(Gen.1:6-8).
This week we are going to revel in the awesomeness of God as we go through the creation stories.
The orderly pattern of the first days of creation was separations. In the first day light was separated from darkness, night from daylight. On this second day water was separated from water so as to have the sky.
Maybe some things are better when separated than when they are together.
Let us spend the week glorying in the wonders of God in song.
Today reflect and sing the hymn,
Give To Our God Immortal Praise.

  1. Give to our God immortal praise,
    mercy and truth are all his ways;
    wonders of grace to God belong:
    repeat his mercies in your song.

2 Give to the Lord of lords renown,
the King of kings with glory crown:
his mercies ever shall endure
when lords and kings are known no more.

3 He built the earth, he spread the sky,
and fixed the starry lights on high;
wonders of grace to God belong:
repeat his mercies in your song.

4 He fills the sun with morning light,
he bids the moon direct the night;
his mercies ever shall endure
when suns and moons shall shine no more.

5 He sent his Son with power to save
from guilt and darkness and the grave;
wonders of grace to God belong:
repeat his mercies in your song.

6 All through this world he guides our feet
and leads us to his heavenly seat;
his mercies ever shall endure
when this vain world shall be no more.
Prayer of the day and week: How great are the works of your hands O LORD. Amen!
Enjoy your day marvelling the wonders of God’s craftsmanship.
Have a blessed day! Peace be with you!
