“Seek, Find And Enter The Narrow Road That Leads To Life!”
Upstart footballers dream of one day making a name in one of the renowned football teams in the world. It is the same with upcoming actors whose dreams are to be Hollywood stars someday! Such is life! Unfortunately stardom is not the ultimate of life!
There is something more to life than what makes a name. Jesus explained this in simple language with common imagery that was easily understood by people of his context: “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow is the road that leads to life, and only a few find it”(Mtt.7:13-14).
This saying is closely following on the heels of “ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find…for everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds…”
This is to say the small gate and narrow road that leads to life is hard to find and needs diligent search! The narrow road is the spiritual road with little attractions, reason why we easily ignore it and go for the broad highway of physical distractions! In this journey of faith strive to search and find the uncommon road that leads to life!
Prayer: Holy Spirit direct my search so that I find and follow the road that leads to life. Amen!
Welcome back to work and let not your feet wander away from the narrow road! Have a blessed day and week! Peace be with you!
