“Put Your Trust In God!”
As Pharaoh and his army approached the Israelites the Israelites were terrified. They grumbled against Moses wishing he would have left them alone to serve the Egyptians as slaves. Moses assured them “Do not be afraid. Stand still and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today…The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still”(Ex.14:10-14).
It happened just as Moses had said and “that day the Lord saved Israel from the hands of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians lying dead on the shore.” When the people saw the great power of the Lord “the people feared the Lord and put their trust in him and in Moses his servant.”
My friend, do not doubt the promises of God. Do not put your trust in him only because he has given you victory. Rather trust in his words because he will do what he says he will do.
And like Moses and the Israelites did after the victory, when God has displayed his power in your situation; when he has rescued you from a very present danger, burst in song(Ex.14:30-15:3). Sing to the Lord for he is highly exalted. The Lord is your strength and your salvation worthy of praise at all times.
Put your trust in the Lord at all times. Whatever difficulty or adversity you are going through now is momentary; as long as your trust is in God through Jesus Christ. Whatever the problem is, it shall come to pass because the Saviour got your back!
Prayer: Lord thank you for saving me from troubles and adversities through Jesus Christ. Amen!
