“Prepare For Eternity Today!”
We are pilgrims in the world. We came from somewhere and we are going to return home. We know there is a home to which we shall return, but we cannot for certain describe that home, but we know that home is where the Lord dwells. Without focusing our interest on mundane affairs, it would be better to leave this earthly body so as to be at home with Him. That is why “we live by faith, not by sight.”
If we live we live for him and if we die we find a home with him. Therefore we should make it our goal to please him, whether now or then.
One thing which is certain is that “we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each may receive what is due him for the things done while in this body, whether good or bad”(II:5:1-10).
My friend, our choices of where we shall spend eternity depends on what we are doing now to please the Lord. Therefore, make a wise choice!
