“Lord, Make Your Plans Known To Me!”
God in his wisdom hid the future from humans. Even the timeframes and goals we set for ourselves can only be tentative because humans may make their plans, but God has the final decision.
Many have unknowingly foiled their own future because they thought things are not moving according to their plan. It may not be moving according to your plan simply because God ignores your plan and is doing it for you the way he had planned.
Joseph’s name would not have entered the world book of fame if he had divorced Mary when he discovered she was pregnant. He was a righteous man no doubt, yet he wanted to divorce Mary in private. Such a private divorce would still have become material for public consumption.
Mary was a good girl and Joseph was a righteous man. He took Mary as the Lord had commanded, “but he had no union with her until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus” just as the angel had commanded (Mt.1:18-25).
My friend, be vigilant and do not ignore your dreams. Let your mind be God-centred so that angelic visitations would reveal the correct plan of God to you for the sake of all humanity.
Prayer: Lord, even in my dreams unfold your plans to me and Holy Spirit help me to obey them. Amen!
