Let Your Eyes And Ears Testify To The God Of Salvation!”(Jer.5:20-23).
“Cogito ergo sum” – “I think, therefore I exist” was the basis of Descartes’ philosophy. Thinking includes doubt. Doubt itself is the root cause of idolatry.
We start developing interest in other gods when we doubt the omnipotence, omniscience, and omnipresence of our God.
We are foolish and senseless, having eyes that do not see and ears that do not hear; otherwise there can be no reason to doubt God because through the senses of sight and hearing, his power speaks.
Dear friend, we should not have stubborn and rebellious hearts. Put your trust in the God of salvation who is the same God of creation.
Prayer: Holy Spirit, give us hearts that are free of doubts. Amen!
Have a blessed day! Peace be with you!
