“Keep God’s Word In Your Heart And Live It!”
The teacher who taught me “O levels” Economics made it so simple for us. He told us that we do not have to wrack our brains looking for imaginary examples. “Always look around you and you’ll realise that it is a subject which you are very familiar with,” were his words.
Life is usually not as complicated as we make it become. The best things of life are never far away from us. The things we cherish most are never far away from us. No matter how far away they may be from us, our loved ones are always in our hearts. That is why we write about our departed loved ones, “forever in our hearts.”
How close is the love of God to you? Do you feel its nearness and “presentness?” He says, “…the word is very near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart so you may obey it.” It is a command to choose between life and prosperity or death and destruction. It is a command to “love the Lord your God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commands, decrees and laws…” (Dt.30:11-15).
God’s best possible world can be today if his word is written in every heart, such that no-one will teach the other saying, “Know the Lord!” (Jer.33:33-34). Keep God’s word in your heart and live it!
Prayer of the week: Lord fill me with your word and propel me into loving action. Amen!
My friend, welcome back to a new working week. Have a blessed day and week! Peace be with you!
