“In Quest For The Understanding Of The Fear Of The LORD!”(Prv.2:1-8).
“My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding— indeed, if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. He holds success in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones.”
Beloved in the Lord, we thank God for another new day. It’s Sunday, and all things being equal let us go to his house for worship and fellowship.
Today, we reflect on a father’s request for his son to pursue wisdom.
Christ is our wisdom. Wisdom is a personification of Christ. Therefore, to pursue wisdom is to seek and be with Christ. In plainer terms, seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all other things will be yours.
Be intentional as you seek to know Christ more and more and the power of his resurrection.
Sunday prayer: LORD, guard our course, and protect our way. Amen!
Have a blessed Sunday! Peace be with you!
