“Hold On To The Truth!”
This is time tested and cannot be altered: “…no lie comes from the truth.” In the same way “no truth comes from a lie.” In this scriptural context a liar “is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichrist – he denies the Father and the Son. No one who denies the Son has the Father: whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father.”
Many come to Jesus for different reasons and with different intentions. To deny that Jesus is the Christ and that he is the Son of the Father is not only by word of mouth.
Any professing Christian who seeks alternative powers from somewhere else has thus denied that Jesus is the Christ and that he is the Son of his Father.
The antichrists of today are parcelling and packaging Jesus in very attractive packages that are irresistible. As for you my friend, “see that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father…” (I Jn.2:21-25).
Jesus himself declares that no one goes to the Father except through the Son (Jn.14:6). Build your faith in this and you will have the victory that overcomes the world. Because an overcomer is “only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God” (I Jn.5:5). Hold on to the truth by remaining in the Son and in the Father!
Prayer: Holy Spirit help me to hold on to my faith as I remain in the Son and in the Father. Amen!
