“Follow The Steps For Reconciliation!”
The world would have had less conflicts if Christians followed the steps which Jesus prescribed for reconciliation. A two man talk with the one who wrongs you. If it doesn’t work then take one or two others, by this you would have witnesses who can later on testify that at least they saw the effort that was made.
If this still does not work, tell the whole church and if he refuses to listen, treat him as a pagan.
This prescription reveals that within the church are people who are not ready to make right the wrongs they have inflicted on others.
Truth be told that the way we would agree here on earth will be bound in heaven and the reverse is true. God is always ready to do for us anything we agree upon on earth. He is not so far that our requests have to take days to get to him. Where two or three come together in his name, he is right there with them(Mtt.18:15-20).
My fellow Christian, there is still a possibility of having a world full of love and peace if we follow the christian way to reconciliation. After all, as we all say, you and I shall appear before his throne to present our balance sheets! Agree and ask him whatever you want, and it is done!
May God’s will triumph over our egos for a better church and a better world!
