“Do The Will Of God And Finish His Work By Making A Christian To Know Christ!”
We have a mission to fulfil the Great Commission in bringing in the harvest – lost souls. They are not outside the fold, they are within the fold – the house of Israel. We “who are not willing to listen”, and “who are hardened and obstinate.”
It has been rightly ascertained that underlying any kind of crises is a spiritual crisis! We have concentrated on Christian expansion in terms of numerical strength at the neglect of the presence of Christ in our midst. The outcome is social Christianity.
The reapers must first be purified by eating the word of God which tastes as sweet as honey in their mouths. By this the reapers won’t be disillusioned because of the people’s obstinacy. The Lord says, “But I will make you as unyielding and hardened as they are…Do not be afraid of them or terrified by them…”(Ez.2:8-3:11).
Nuturing entails bearing each other’s burden so as to fulfil the law of Christ. No-one can mock God, so in life you reap what you sow.
We do not have to be conceited, provoking and envying each other. Rather, we must “not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up…as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers “(Gal.5:26:-6:10).
The love of truth alone is what gives us victory even when all seems lost because in our brokenness we know that God cannot be mocked!
My friend, let your passion be to do the will of him who sent you and to fisnish his work!(Jn.4:31-38). Win a soul for Christ today, not by making someone a Christian, but by making a Christian to know Christ!
Sunday prayer: Lord let my zeal be to do your will and finish my assignment. Amen!
Have a blessed Sunday! Peace be with you!
