“Community Spirit!”(I Thes.5:14-24).
It is a small world we are living in, and our time here is very brief. We are like passengers in an urban bus with different destinations. People drop at different bus stops. There’s no time for jealousy, envy and hatred.
Small as the world may be, there is space for everyone. Making the other person miserable – one way or the other – does not make your own life better.
The popular wise saying ends with, “…thank God the road to heaven does not pass through your father’s compound.”
We can still make the world a better place than it already is by improving on our attitudes towards others and the way we treat them.
The garden of Eden is still here and it has enough space for all of us. The things of this earth can be sufficient for all of us, if we gather it in the way Manna was gathered. Each person can have enough if some people do not desire to have more than enough. Yes; when we overcome our greed and insatiable appetites, when love overwhelms us, then paradise would become evident.
Today let us read from Paul concerning this right relationship: “And we urge you, brothers and sisters, warn those who are idle and disruptive, encourage the disheartened, help the weak, be patient with everyone. Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone. Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not quench the Spirit. Do not treat prophecies with contempt but test them all; hold on to what is good, reject every kind of evil. May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it.”
Indeed, God is faithful. He has done it, he is doing it and he will do it for you as he is doing for me.
Today is my birthday. I am Diamond plus +. Like I appealed to you, for any celebration join me reconstruct the house of Ba Nelson G. Work is going on with the foundation. To those who have assisted, we say, Thank you. May God replenish you abundantly.
Let love continue to rule out hearts so that you become somebody’s destiny helper. And you, be mindful the way you treat people. The fool you see now may be your destiny helper in disguise. Happy birthday to me!
Weekend prayer: Holy Spirit, guide and enable me to cultivate a loving relationship with others. Amen!
Have a blessed weekend! Peace be with you!
