“Come To Jesus, Look To Him, Believe Him And Be Saved!”
My little granny dotes on me so much. She will climb, jump, and roll all over me. There are times I tell her, “please sit on your own chair. Leave me to rest,” etc. Still she’s my bundle of joy.
We have somebody who is not tired of our presence. Jesus Christ says, “All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away…I shall lose none…For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life…” (Jn.6:37-40).
And who are those who come to him? When the Pharisee teachers of the law accused him of eating with tax collectors and sinners, he said to them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners” (Mk.16-17).
My friend, do not let sin keep you away from the Saviour. Rather come to him as you are; he will never drive away whoever comes to him. The will of the Father is that if you look to the Son and believes in him, you shall have eternal life. It is an open invite. Entry is free and there is guarantee of a warm reception. Come in and make yourself comfortable.
Weekend prayer: Thank you Lord Jesus Christ for accepting an unworthy sinner like me. Amen!
Have a blessed weekend! Peace be with you!
