“Cheer Up; It Is In Gods Plan!”
Two things stood out in the story when God sent Moses to Pharaoh. He told Moses, “See, I have made you like God to Pharaoh, and your brother Aaron will be your prophet…But I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and though I multiply my miraculous signs and wonders in Egypt, he will not listen to you…”
One person is made to be like God and the other person is made to harden his heart.
This is contrary to what we were told yesterday that, “Today if you hear God’s voice harden not your hearts.” God hardened Pharaoh’s heart so that ” the Egyptians will know that I am the Lord when I stretch out my had against Egypt and bring the Israelites out of it”(Ex. 7:1-13).
My friend, some times we shouldn’t become so heartbroken because tyrants are holding our people hostage. It is all in God’s plan! We may think that it is taking too long, but remember this: “God is never early or late; he is always on time!”
Tyrants may have their day, but there comes the day when puffed up by hardened hearts, they meet their Waterloo in a sea where God’s children have crossed!
You may be the one whom God makes like God to a Pharaoh; that does not make you God! If such a role gets into your head and you think you have become God, just be reminded that when God wants to destroy you, he first elevate you to his rank!
This is to say that both ways whether you are made like God like Moses or whether you play God like Pharaoh, just know that you are a puppet being controlled by a Master who has the strings of your life in his hands.
Your time, my time, your life, my life are in God’s hands! Fix your thoughts on Christ and God will elevate you to do great exploits for his service; but puff your ego like Pharaoh and God will harden your heart and bring you down like Humpty Dumpty!
It is not about any of us! It is about God himself! Whether he makes you like God like he did Moses or he hardens your heart like he did to Pharaoh, it is all intended for the confused world to see and know that he is the Lord!
Therefore my friend, in whatever situation you find yourself, be patient and wait on God’s time! “God’s time is the best!”
Prayer: Dear God, enable me to see your hand in my situation so that I may remain humble in your presence! I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen!
Welcome to a new week! Wish you a blessed day and week as you open your eyes to see God’s hand in your life! Peace be with you!
