“Believe In The Son And Inherit Eternal Life!”
Any beloved son is the heir apparent to succeed the father. As such while the father is still alive that son is given recognition by those who know him. His father already shares his responsibilities with his son, knowing that all he has belongs to the son.
I saw an example which impressed me a lot. The frail and aging chief of Bonandale passed on the baton of leadership to his son. Both of them attended functions together but the son spoke and acted for the father.
It is not different with God and his Son Jesus Christ. John the Baptist testifies, “the Father loved the Son and has placed everything in his hands. Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see eternal life, for God’s wrath remains on him.”
Why would anyone perish when it costs nothing to believe in the Son?
God is truthful and gives his Holy Spirit without limit(Jn. 3:31-36). Why would anyone chase the shadow while allowing the substance to go by? We have just celebrated the birthday of the Son, let us hold on the legacy he has acquired from the Father and is bequeathing to us for free!
Merry Christmas!
Have a blessed day! Peace be with you!
