“Return To The Lord And Receive His Grace Of Christmas!”
There is nothing wrong with failure because you fail only when you stop trying. My people say when you fall and get up you should learn the lesson of looking for a walking staff. They also say that when you are bitten by a snake, you become scared of even a chameleon. Lastly they say that the dog that runs too fast after the prey is likely to miss the scent and outrun the animal. When that happens, the dog must stop, retrace its steps until it picks up the scent so as to follow the hunted animal!
These are lessons of life teaching us that we must learn to make a U-turn and return to the Lord when sin tries to shroud us. It is always about each person looking inward because we know just as God knows what lies inside there!
Today God is asking each one of us, “When men fall down, do they not get up? When a man turns away, does he not return? Why then have these people turn away?…They cling to deceit and refuse to return. I have listened carefully, but they do not say what is right. No-one repents of his wickedness, saying, ‘What have I done!’ Each pursues his own course…my people do not know the righteousness of the Lord “(Jer.8:4-7).
Dear friend, let you and I stop justifying ourselves and return to the Lord for this is the reason for Christmas, that God incarnated himself so that his grace can wash away the sins caused by our hardness of hearts! Do not cling to self-deceit, return to the Lord and embrace the love of God and also pass it around!
Prayer of the week: I pray not to cling on to deceit, but to know the requirements of the Lord and do what is right . Amen!
Welcome back to a new working week! Have a blessed day! Peace be with you!
