“Be Strong; The Lord Is Your Comfort!”
The story is told of a Bishop who stayed up late into the night. When God asked why he was up so late, he replied that he was worried about the fate of his parishioners. God told him, “Bishop, go to sleep and leave the worrying to me!”
It may be necessary to make our plans, but the truth is that our future is secured in God’s hands! “God holds the future in his hands!”
No humanbeing understands the mind of God. No-one serves as his counsellor. He is the teacher of the right way, the fountain from where flows knowledge and to him belongs the path of understanding.
Before God all men are like grass. “Before him all nations are as nothing; they are regarded by him as worthless and less than nothing.” Yes, men like grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands for ever”(Is.40:6-8 &12-17).
My friend, leave it in God’s hands and allow him to lead the way! To know that we are helpless before the Lord keeps us in humble submission so that we do not depend on our might and power but simply by his Spirit! God has given us the Lord Jesus Christ who has sent us the Holy Spirit. May we allow him to lead as we follow!
Prayer: Lord our times are in your hands. Let your will be done in our lives. Amen!
Have a blessed day! Peace be with you!
