“Delight In The Wonderful Things Christ Is Doing!”(Lk.13:10-17).
“For a new day, we thank you LORD. “
One time in a synagogue, Jesus healed a woman who had been crippled for eighteen years. “Indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, the synagogue ruler said to the people, ‘There are six days for work. So come to be healed on those days, not on the Sabbath.'”
Imagine a widely circulating information that people should not go to the hospitals on Sundays or that in-patients should not expect treatment on Sundays!
No doubt that Jesus lumped the synagogue ruler with his other detractors and called them “You hypocrites!”
If we can feed our animals on Sunday, how much more is it to do good on Sunday by setting free anyone who has been bound by Satan through sickness!
(Dear friends, let me bring to you my daughter, who has been bound by Satan for about a year now. She is bedridden for all this time, soon after she gave birth. They are in a foreign land. Her vegetable condition is a heavy load on the young husband who is now battling with keeping a job, being with the wife, and settling bills in a bills oriented country. “Heavenly Father, hear our collective prayer: ‘Let your will be done on your daughter in Jesus’ name. Amen!'”
Dear friend, we do not go to church without our burdens. When the Lord Jesus Christ meets us there and frees us from the chains of Satan, we can only praise God for working on us through his Son.
God asked that we should rest on the Sabbath and keep it holy because he rested on the Sabbath. But he is still working on the Sabbath as long as it is for somebody’s good.
Whoever opposes the Lord Jesus Christ will be humiliated, while the people will be delighted with the wonderful things he is doing!
Prayer: Lord Jesus Christ, free us from whatever bondage that Satan has bound us in the past. Amen!
Have a blessed day! Peace be with you!
