Text: I Cor.6:1-6.
“If any of you has a dispute with another, do you dare to take it before the ungodly for judgment instead of before the Lord’s people? Or do you not know that the Lord’s people will judge the world? And if you are to judge the world, are you not competent to judge trivial cases? Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life! Therefore, if you have disputes about such matters, do you ask for a ruling from those whose way of life is scorned in the church? I say this to shame you. Is it possible that there is nobody among you wise enough to judge a dispute between believers? But instead, one brother takes another to court—and this in front of unbelievers!”

Theme: “No To The Courts!”
A Christian went to consult a Ngambi man. The Ngambi man told him, “Your pastor was here yesterday.”
There are places that we go to and things that we do as Christians that stupify us among unbelievers.
Our church houses are full of magistrates, lawyers, and justices of the law. The majority of the traditional council members are Christians. Instead of asking them to resolve our differences, we take those petit differences to court to be resolved by non-Christians. By so doing, we belittle ourselves before those unbelievers who use such weaknesses of ours as tools of mockery.
We can settle our differences out of court, and that will dignify us among unbelievers.
We are truly one another’s keeper if we settle our differences in-house as members of the household of faith.
Prayer of the day and week: Holy Spirit, inspire us daily to see the need to resolve our differences without involving the courts. Amen!
Welcome back to a new working day and week! Have a blessed day and week! Peace be with you!
