“To The Only Wise God Be Glory…!”(Rom. 16:25-27).
Good morning good friends. The psalmist reminds us that at the dawn of each new day we should look up beyond the mountains from whence our help comes.
God is the ultimate purpose of all things. He is the very reason for our existence. We are pilgrims in this world, meaning there is a place called home where we shall return. That initial place of bliss where true fellowship reigned between the heavenly and the temporal realms.
Eden – paradise – is where we belong. While on the cross the Lord Jesus Christ told the repentant thief, “I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise”(Lk. 23:43). The Lord Jesus Christ has the same message to anyone who repents and believes in the Son of God.
God has established us through the gospel and the proclamation of Jesus Christ. Everything is happening according to God’s eternal plan. The Lord Jesus Christ is the revelation of the mystery which had been hidden for long ages past, but has now been revealed and made known through prophetic writings, by the command of God himself.
God’s sole reason for the revelation is “so that all nations might believe and obey him.”
Just as there are individual sins, so too there are structural sins of nations. Structures that contain seeds of sin at inception lead the nation to sin. If the nations have to believe and obey God, there must be an intentional collapsing of such structures.
Every edifice eventually collapses; only God remains eternal. He alone deserves all honour and glory!
Prayer: “To the only wise God be glory forever through Jesus Christ! Amen!”
Have a blessed day! Peace be with you!
