“Sing To The Lord, For He Has Done Glorious Things…!”
Some choristers will quickly align with this song inspired by the text of today (Is.12). “I praise you Lord you were angry with me, and now you comfort me and are angry no more…” God’s anger is temporary. His steadfast love endures forever.
Yesterday somewhere along the road somebody pointed a gun straight at me and if I did not stop I can’t tell what would’ve happened. We have become used to such; it is now the new normal!
We are afraid like anybody else, but we dare because we have confident trust in the God we believe in. We know that God has our back. I have made up my mind that “Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord, is my strength and song; he has become my salvation…”
We may be surrounded with all kinds of trials and tribulations, but we are not shaken. We know that whatever is the present travail, with God all problems have expiry dates.
My friend, are you seeing the hand of God in all that is happening to you? Then “give thanks to the Lord, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done, and proclaim that his name is exalted. Sing to the Lord, for he has done glorious things; let this be known to all the world. Shout aloud and sing for joy… for great is the Holy One…”
Prayer: Lord Jesus Christ thank you for sacrificing your life for my promised salvation. Amen!
Have a blessed day! Peace be with you!
