“Praise God For He Has Not Forgotten You!”
The song “Come and see what the Lord has done for me…” is a great testimony of the Lord’s goodness. Sometimes we fail to recognise the hand of God in the incidental blessings that happen to us daily. And when we do not recognise them, we cannot also praise God for his goodness.
In life we should learn not only to ask from God, but also to know when he has given and so give him the praise which he deserves.
We should learn from Zechariah. When John was born, “Zechariah was filled with the Holy Spirit and prophesied:” In his prophecy he did not rejoice because now he too could be counted amongst men. Rather, he praised God that he had come to redeem his people.
Oh yes; we have arrived at that point where the Holy Spirit should inspire us to prophesy that at the right time God is coming to our rescue. He is coming to lift us out of this quagmire of four years of drudgery, insecurity, uncertainty, kidnappings, unjustified incacerations and extrajudicial killings!
He comes “to shine on those living in darkness and in the shadow of death, and to guide our feet into the path of peace”(Lk.1:67-80).
Yes, rest assured: Come 2021, things must better! No matter the tribulations now, “all must be well!” Cheer up because God always remembers his own!
Prayer: Lord we thank you for remembering me at the right time. Amen!
Have a blessed day! Peace be with you!
“God’s Love!”
