“Lord Jesus Christ, Take My Hand And Help Me Up!”
The kind of care you give to a sick person makes all the difference. Sometimes neither medical attention nor miracle is needed. All it takes to bring healing is a gentle touch, a helping hand, and maybe some kind and reassuring words – if necessary.
This is what our Lord Jesus Christ did to the mother-in-law of Simon. When he was told that the lady was in bed with fever, “he went to her, took her hand and helped her up. The fever left her and she began to wait on them”(Mk.1:29-31).
Yes, there are times when you to go someone, take her/his hand and help her/him up and the person will be well again.
My friend, Jesus Christ is the same today, just as he was in days of yore, and will forever be the same. He is available to take your hand and help you get up from which ever down situation you are in. When he does this you should get up and serve him through the services you render to others.
Jesus teaches us by his humility to find time to be in the homes of our collaborators so that those who are in those homes should through us benefit the blessings of God.
Weekend prayer: Lord Jesus Christ take my hand and help me up. Amen!
Have a blessed weekend! Peace be with you!
