“Jesus Christ Is The Name For All Seasons!”
“Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
The moment you discover the secret in the power of that name Jesus Christ, nothing matters to you anymore. The name of Jesus is so sweet in the believer’s ear. There is no reason to seek any power or bow to any power, be it from above, here on earth or beneath the earth. Every tongue “will” come to confess that Jesus Christ is Lord! Believe in him and see the power of his name at work in your life!
But how did Jesus come to this exalted position? He “made himself nothing…he humbled himself and became obedient to death – even death on a cross!”
To enjoy the power in the name of Jesus Christ “your attitude should be the same as that of Jesus Christ”(Phi.2:5-11).
Cling to the name of Jesus Christ, no matter the weather. He is not a fair weather friend. He is a friend for all seasons, thus continuing with his humility. The same humility that exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name above all names!
Life without Christ is illusive and life with Christ looks heavenward and is not earth bound!
Weekend prayer: Exalted Lord Jesus Christ teach me your attitude of humility as I confess in thought, word and deed that you alone are Lord. Amen!
