“Praise The Lord For His Love!”
The first of January is like a wedding day. Just as marriage proper begins after the wedding, so too the reality of living a new year begins after the festivities of first January.
We begin living the year 2020 by praising God from whom all blessings flow. The song of Isaiah is our prayer praise today. “I will tell of the kindness of the Lord, the deeds for which he is to be praised, according to all the Lord has done for us – yes, the many good things he has done…according to his compassion and many kindnesses…”
Yes my friend, the Lord became our Saviour by giving us grace in his Son Jesus Christ. God feels our pains. In our distress, he is distressed. Because of his love and mercy he has redeemed us(Is.63:7-9).
If we are alive today it is because of the compassion, goodness, love and mercy of the Lord. “Sing praises to the Lord our King!” Commit your plans to him and let him lead. What you have received from the Lord free of charge, share the same with others. Be compassionate towards others, be good to others. Show love in action. Be merciful to others just as the Lord has been merciful to you! Freely you have received freely you must give. Like a candle, use your light to light others and you will not lose anything!
Prayer: I praise you Lord for your unfailing love and compassion to me. May I testify to your goodness in my words, in my thoughts and in my deeds. Amen!
Have a blessed day! Peace be with you!
