“Trust In The Lord Always; Even Now!”
Humanity has the tendency to abandon the substance and run after the shadow. As my people would put it, “the dog would prefer to eat on the ground than the plate in which its food is served.”
In our time we are no better off than the people of Judah. We are a “foolish and senseless people, who have eyes but do not see, who have ears but do not hear…”
If we could see and hear then we would tremble before God’s presence who makes impossibilities possible! Imagine that God uses sand to make a boundary for the sea, an everlasting barrier it cannot prevail. “The waves may roll, but it cannot prevail; they may roar, but they cannot cross it…”(Jer. 5:20-22).
I know that faithless people may say our stupidity has gone beyond bounds! How can we be counting the corpses of innocent souls in the midst of wailing and yet we are talking about a God who blocks the ocean with sand?
But that’s just who our God is! He is strong in our weakness!
Remember Job? When he lost everything, he still said with conviction: “I know that my Redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand upon the earth. After my skin has been destroyed, yet in my flesh I will see God; I myself will see him with my own eyes…”(19:25-27).
Yes my friend, our Redeemer Jesus the Christ lives and that is enough for us! As long as he is alive, we are overcomers! “It shall come to pass” because nothing lasts forever!
God knows, God sees and he is an action God who acts in his own good time!
Don’t give up on your faith and trust in him!
Prayer: Holy Spirit open my eyes and ears to see and hear the wonderful things that God is doing; even in our adversity. Amen!
Have a blessed day! Peace be with you!
