“Beyond The Horizon Of Despondency There Is Hope…!
If there is one thing that contradicts and compromises the present fiasco in this triangle it is the little regard that is given to God. We remember the time when a high profile personality said that not even God can change a decision that had been taken. We were appalled, but God truly did not change the decision.
So far Christians have been torn between and betwixt. It is either one side or the other threatening Christians not to go to church to worship God. Servants of God are gunned down without remorse. The escalation of violence and the continous threats of worst days ahead are so frightening that we wonder whether we have ever handled and read the word of God.
When from both ways Christians are deprived of worship then we have extended the battle to be against God and not the other side – whichever that other side may be!
In times like this those who call on the name of the Lord may be tempted to sink into the pool of despair and despondency!
But we are here to assure you that God is a God of constancy. Remain steadfast in the Lord and your mockers, accusers and persecutors will come to you and say, “Let us go with you, because we have heard that God is with you.”
Those who ignore God today by destroying those created in his image will soon say, “Let us go at once to entreat the Lord and seek the Lord Almighty…”(Zec. 8:20-23).
Yes my friend, our God is not a weakling, he is not like a lifeless idol! He is God Almighty who does not go back on his promises!
The present may be fuzzy but the future is assured; and that future is now! Hold on to your dream for the people have heard that “God is with you!”
So therefore, “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!”(Phi. 4:4). No matter how deep the darkness of the night is, you are soon to see a dawn of bright sunshine and an abundance of God’s overflowing blessings! Beyond the horizon of despondency there is hope Undaunted!
We wish you a blessed first weekend of the year 2019! Peace be with you!
