“Reminesces Of Yesteryears!”
Since I was a homeboy I first learned of the French Revolution through Charles Dickens’ novel, “A Tale Of Two Cities!”
When I later on read European history I realised that it is little things that spark off revolutions that lead to unimaginable and unmanageable proportions that eventually bring positive transformations!
What happens is that when mindsets of uncritical acquiescence have been deconstructed, things can never be the same! Coercion, bullying, intimidation, bribery and manipulation come to a deadend when people start being critically objective.
This is where we are now, and it should serve as a yardstick to any group of people, institution or nation who think power is in the hands of those who rule. Power is always in the hands of the people! You can only deceive and manipulate some people for some of the time but not all of the time!
Like STIMELA, the once popular orchestra of South Africa titled one of their songs, “Who Is Fooling Who?”
