“The Storm Will Soon Be Over!”
Life’s journey is like sailing a boat. Sailors expect that the sea should always be calm. But as long as the waves rise and fall there’s bound to be stormy seas. Such stormy seas may end up in grave dissaster to those in the high seas.
However, once you have Christ in the boat you just have to smile over the storms. Jesus is a shelter in troubled waves and an anchor in a large ocean, but most of all he remains your best friend.
Yes my friend, let the storms of life rage on as ferocious as it can. In the thick of danger from friends and foe, do not panic. With faith approach the throne of grace and tell Jesus: “Master I am about to drown!”
Yes, he will rebuke the wind and the raging waters and there will be calm.(Lk. 8:22-25). Bear this in mind: After any storm comes a calm!
The silent voice of the Spirit whispers to those whose faith is in Jesus Christ, “Peace be still! It is well with you for Christ is the captain of your boat and even the winds obey him!”
Have faith; Christ is watching your back! God has your future in his hands!
Prayer: Holy Spirit increase my faith so that I should not panic when the storms of life threatens me. Lord Jesus remain in my boat to calm any storm and assuage my fears! Amen!
Have a blessed Sunday! Peace be with you!
