“Worship The Son Who Has Revealed The Father To You!”
Jesus whose birth we have just commemorated is God’s final revelation to humanity. God may have spoken in the past “through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but these last days he has spoken to us by his Son…”
Today let us answer three questions about Jesus:
Who is this Jesus?
He is the Son of God.
He has been appointed heir of all things.
The universe was made through him.
He is the radiance of God’s glory, an exact representation of his being.
He sustains all things by his powerful word.
Why did Jesus come to the world?
He came to provide purification for sins.
What happened to him after his mission was fulfilled?
He is sitting at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.
He has become superior to the angels because he has inherited a name superior to theirs.
Prophecy must be fulfilled that, “Let all angels worship him”(Heb.1:1-6).
Yes, the spirit of Christmas is to worship the heir who has purified us of sins, so that we too can continue to radiate the radiance of God’s glory.
Prayer: Lord Jesus Christ I worship you for purifying me and revealing the glory of the Father to me. Amen!
Have a blessed day! Peace be with you!
